I’m Ciro Miranda. I’ve been building web applications for more than 15 years. I’ve worked in the e-commerce, fintech and betting and gaming industries.

I created this website as a place where I write about software development, technology and the internet.

Why this website?

The main reason I created this website is twofold.

I wanted to have a place where I use writing as a tool for learning and as a vehicle to help me think.

The best way I learn something is when I sit down and write about it. Writing highlights what I know and what I don’t know.

It gives me a process that sheds light on my lack of understanding of a topic and helps me learn and consolidate my knowledge.

Another important aspect of writing is its ability to help me think.

If you’re thinking without writing, you only think you’re thinking.
